Proprietary assessment process
Data Centre Axis uses a proprietary assessment process to review site, capacity and investment requirements. Internal research methods, selection criteria and assessment workflows remain private.
Published market and facility facts retain their source attribution. Those third-party facts remain subject to their original source terms. Project-specific findings and confidential opportunity details are shared only under agreed permissions.
Verification dates
Each facility record shows the date its figures were last verified. Across Australia and the United Kingdom, the directory holds 115 editorial facility profiles, last verified between 26 June 2026 and 5 October 2026, and 44 regional operator profiles.
Facility status ladder
Options put forward for a requirement are described in four stages, so the evidence behind each is clear:
Identified: The site or facility has been recorded from public planning, land, or network disclosures, with data centre intent noted.
Capability reported: Operational or development specifications have been stated in public operator filings, technical submissions, or press releases.
Capability confirmed: Technical parameters such as power provision, building footprint, and operational status have been cross-checked against independent public documentation.
Availability confirmed: Spare or upcoming IT load and floor space have been verified directly with the operator for active requirements.
Capacity metrics and distinctions
Site power (total incoming utility or substation capacity) is recorded separately from IT load (power available directly to compute and rack hardware).
Operational capacity is reported separately from planned capacity or capacity currently under construction.
Capacity figures officially published by operators are catalogued separately from indicative engineering estimates.
Corrections and source terms
Data Centre Axis honours the terms of use of its sources.
Operators, developers and public authorities may request corrections to factual errors or the removal of material. Validated corrections and removal requests are acted on.
