What capacity are you able to offer?
Data Centre Axis advises operators and investors on data centre transactions and capacity positioning. When submitting capacity for consideration, technical measurement must remain separate from commercial availability.
Select the known basis from IT load, site power or racks, and choose Not specified when the basis is unconfirmed. Stated technical capacity is recorded separately from commercial offer status.
Offer status is the operator’s declaration and is not verified by Data Centre Axis. Submissions indicate whether capacity is available now, scheduled for future delivery, contracted, or subject to confirmation. A facility’s operating stage does not establish vacant or available capacity. Contracted capacity must not be marketed as vacant, and future delivery dates are not guaranteed.
What should the initial brief include?
Initial submissions require only a high-level, non-sensitive summary of the facility:
Required details
- Contact: Full name and email address.
- Facility location: City and country.
- Stated scale: A stated scale if known, or Unknown.
- Capacity basis: IT load, site power, racks, or Not specified.
- Declared offer status: Available now, future delivery, contracted, or subject to confirmation. This is the submitter’s declaration, not verification by Data Centre Axis. An operating facility is not automatically vacant, contracted capacity is not vacant, and future delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Optional details
- Facility stage (optional): Operating, Under construction, Planned, or Not sure.
- Authority (optional): Commercial or operational relationship to the asset: Operator, Asset owner, Authorised representative, or Other.
- Target timing: Target delivery or availability dates.
- Capacity density: Target or supported power density per rack.
- Non-sensitive message: General context regarding the facility.
Do not submit confidential customer contracts, network diagrams, or sensitive floor plans in your initial enquiry.
How Data Centre Axis reviews a proposed offer
Submissions are assessed directly by the Data Centre Axis advisory team. Each requirement is reviewed against Data Centre Axis research. Candidate options are shortlisted with their evidence, and introductions are made only where both parties agree. Commercial terms are agreed directly between the parties.
Submitting an outline does not create a public listing or guarantee transaction demand. Formal representation follows an agreed appointment and scoped mandate. Operators considering broader portfolio transactions can review advisory mandates and capital deployment. Organisations seeking to acquire capacity should view buyer capacity sourcing or wholesale colocation.
